  • Responsibilities

    The Health Plan Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining the relationship between the Customer Assistance Center(CAC) staff and the SBE Health Plans. The Liaison will build effective communication channels to help resolve customers' and other issues with the Plans. This person will also be working closely with the Project Director to capture meeting minutes and action items from all meetings with Plans, the client and internal stakeholders. They will be responsible for the coordination of change requests with the business analyst.

    Essential duties:

    • Schedules and convenes meetings with health plans to discuss issues and updates in the program
    • Coordinates between the health plans and system staff for the flow of data and files
    • Resolves any inability to receive correct data from either the plans or MAXIMUS
    • Ensures health plan transactions are processed in an appropriate and timely manner
    • Receive and review documents that come from plans that need to be processed
    • Determine how a process should work and how changes in conditions, operations, systems, and other factors will affect outcomes.
    • This person will be woring closely with Project Director to capture meeting minutes and action items from all meetings with Plans, the client and internal stakeholders
    • Respond to daily miscellaneous question/emails
    • Write and author presentations to clients, health plans and other staff
    • Responsible for adhering to all established safety standards

    Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Overall responsibility for identifying and documenting Quality Control business requirements and processes, including providing clarification on any requirement discrepancies.
    • Perform all internal reporting needs of the Quality Control Operations team.
    • Understand Quality Control business problems and opportunities and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
    • Extracts, tabulates, and analyzes data to support program activity and assists in Management decision making.
    • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to new processes, functionality, and/or proposed solutions within Quality Control.
    • Identify, analyze, and communicate all system and process defects.
    • Identify innovative strategies to create operational and/or system efficiencies.
    • Work closely with business owners, operations, users, and systems staff to improve business efficiency.
    • Work effectively with internal and external business partners in the delivery of solutions.
    • Provide production support for Quality Control Operations.
    • Monitor process data to identify potential system and process issues.
    • Monitor QCDT for efficiency.

    Requirements:

    • Good communication skills a must
    • Excellent use of analytical thinking, methods and tools to resolve problems.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong facilitation skills.
    • Strong relationship management skills, able to be effective at all organizational levels; users, team members and management.
    • Strong ability to facilitate information gathering sessions with business subject matter experts.
    • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
    • Experience with government sponsored health care programs and operations desirable.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
