As a Technical Analyst you will collaborate with other members of the operations,product and engineering teams to analyse, automate and build data-driven solutions. You would develop quality measurement systems and improve operational efficiency through scripting and tool development which will ultimately help people get jobs. Responsibilities:

• Understand and develop automation solutions for internal operational workflow and build tools which will optimize and reduce manual processes.

• Utilize and improve engineering skills to build front end applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript along with various web frameworks and backend with NodeJS, Java Spring Boot, various database technologies, as well as Indeed’s own software stacks in Java and Python.

• Build data sets from disparate sources, design and develop quality measurement systems on Indeed’s data.

• Be able to self manage projects and perform requirements gathering, scoping and implementing Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

• Perform peer code reviews and practice clean code principles

• Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to distill complex and diverse business problems into simple, effective solutions.

• Identify procedural pain points and propose/implement improvements

• Contribute to team goals and metrics

• Work in partnership with cross functional stakeholders like Operations, Engineering, and Product across Indeed

• Learning product and project management skills to manage various aspects of a project from start to completion

• Provide technical solutions in response to operational escalations, delivering the highest level of satisfaction

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Finance, Engineering MIS or 2+ years relevant work experience

• Without degree need minimum of 2 years exp with Javascript and/or Python

• With degree Experience in Python and/or Javascript programming

• Working knowledge of Javascript,HTML,CSS or using front end frameworks like React to contribute to existing solutions and web applications.

• An understanding of version control/ git (branching, merges, etc)

• Experience with relational databases (SQL) or noSQL storage system

• Working knowledge of data storage principles

• Ability to drive product design discussions with cross-functional teams

• Self-motivated and a genuine desire to learn new skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure etc. Experience preferred

• Experience with web frameworks like react, flask preferred

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
