Merchant Maverick is a review and rating site for business software and services. We are searching for a PR Intern to work closely with the CEO in developing and contributing to public relations and marketing activities

As an intern you will:

• Come up with a strategy to attract big media attention
• Put together list of high-profile journalists and bloggers to reach out to
• Coordinate with news media as assigned, in development of appropriate news stories
• Write and publish press releases, as necessary

• Preferably a PR or communications major with excellent verbal and written skills
• Must remain positive in the face of rejection and continually persist
• Be able to create long-term relationships with industry journalists and bloggers
