We pave the route for our early careers talent to go far and fast with accelerated career development. By joining the 2023 Expedia Group Graduate Program (EGGP) as a Project Manager I, you will complete two 6-month rotations on different teams to give you exposure to some of the many facets of our travel ecosystem. While you will be a full-time employee throughout the program, you will also benefit from dedicated professional and personal development opportunities during your rotations to help you identify what excites you the most about your career future. You will be aligned with a permanent role after the conclusion of EGGP in a role we call Destination Role.
EGGP Overview:
Team Rotations: two team rotations (in the same office, within the same job profile) to build knowledge of our business, across various Expedia Group divisions. Contribute to meaningful work that makes a positive impact on travel, all while advancing your career
Destination Role: after completing your two rotations in the program, align with your permanent Destination Role with one team aligned to your skills, interests, and position availability
Onboarding: first week onboarding with our Early Careers team in your local office including introduction to Expedia Group and best business practices, essential new hire training, laptop set up, meeting your graduate cohort, manager, and navigator
Launchpad (Training): in-depth, role-specific two weeks of technical and professional skills learning in a hub location (Seattle/London/Gurgaon) to help set you up for success in the program
Learning Series: continued learning throughout your program to build technical and professional skills
Leadership Series: opportunities to directly ask questions and learn about the career journeys of our leaders during exclusive EGGP-only Q&A events
Social Events and Networking: build your network with other participants in the program during regular socials and join our Inclusion Business Groups
Support Network: mentorship from a dedicated structure of managers and navigators (buddies) as well as the Early Careers and Learning & Development teams; access to Expedia Group mentoring programs

What You’ll do:
Our Product Managers evaluate market conditions and work to identify traveller problems and needs that can be solved via technology. The role involves measuring customer adoption, feedback, and satisfaction to guide future iterations of the products. By collaborating with stakeholders and cross-discipline teams including User Experience, product owners, and developers you will collect observations and data points to identify a problem and formulate a hypothesis to solve this problem. You will guide a team through prioritization of the features developed, validation of acceptance criteria, and marketing the product to customers.
Supervise changes in existing key performance indicators for your own work and identify when metrics are out of range
Drive implementation of product features by identifying the problem, defining requirements, and working with design and engineering to deliver upon those requirements
Help build business cases using competitive analysis, market and customer research, and loads of data
Craft hypotheses for new features or enhancements
Partner with our development teams to facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions, and help identify gaps in our product and our business
Collaborate with development teams through the development cycle to ensure features meet the desired business goals
Partner directly with product owners to ensure stories are clearly defined and accurately communicated
Iteratively answer ongoing questions when refining features and communicate product benefits to internal customers
Engage with user research and experience design teams to create mock-ups and prototypes
Using online tools, analyze and report on product test results

Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree between December 2022 and July 2023 in a technical (e.g. Computer Science, Math) or business-related subject with tech (Digital)
Must be willing to relocate to the city of job location if outside commuting distance
Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
Helpful to demonstrate knowledge of basic decision frameworks using the scientific method to understand a developed model
Helpful to shows a basic understanding of how to communicate decision-making rationale to team members using insights from customers, the business, or competitors
