YOUR JOB

As a Sr. Product Strategist at Indeed, you will be part of our SMB Product Strategy Team, working closely with senior leadership and product teams to analyze data, develop insights and apply these insights to improve our product and business outcomes for our business.

Job responsibilities

• Identify, measure and track product and business levers for international markets: size opportunities for improvement, identify potential opportunities or problems, diagnose root causes

• Create and deliver accurate, high-quality, thoughtfully designed reports and analyses to operational and strategic questions. Provide forward looking insights and propose recommendations

• Determine the best approach to accomplish project goals and own execution with limited direction

• Independently structure and execute analysis yourself, whether it’s doing queries in SQL/IQL, searching through logs, building an excel model or using the plethora of in-house tools for analyzing data

• Identify and drive continuous improvement activities, partnering with product, marketing, sales and CS

• Support international product leaders in answering critical questions with both quantitative and qualitative analysis

• Execute special projects / ad hoc analyses, as initiatives, products, risks and opportunities are constantly evolving

Who You Are

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Technical Engineering, or a related quantitative field

• 3+ years of cumulative experience in product, strategy, data analytics/science, business intelligence, and/or management consulting

• Hands-on experience with SQL, writing complex and optimized queries

• Proficiency conducting analysis and building models in spreadsheets, and visualizing insights

• Flexibility in time zones to accommodate collaboration with international product teams

• Being self-driven and proactive; able to confidently lead workstreams or projects independently with limited guidance

• Strong communication, synthesis, and project management skills

• Excellent relationship-building skills to identify stakeholder needs, foster trust, challenge assumptions, and make recommendations

• A "get things done" mentality. You move fast and you don’t settle for the status quo, always on the hunt for the next big thing

Desired additional qualifications

• MS in a technical field or MBA a plus

• Experience at a top-tier consulting or investment banking firm a plus

• Python, R, Tableau or other advanced analytics experience a plus

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
