    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Xactly's Solutions Consulting team's goal is to set customers up for success by providing a valuable product solution to meet and exceed their unique business requirements. As part of the team, the Proposal Assistant will work with the sales team to support sales engagements including proposal creation and management. The Proposal Assistant will play a key role in helping sales best position our solution by creating compelling content to win more deals.

  • Qualifications

    THE SKILL SET:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and passion for driving process improvements
    • High sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to multi-task and manage projects across several prospect accounts
    • Ability to present to an audience in person and virtually
    • This position does not require technical or programming experience, but a working knowledge of software applications is required.
    • Proficient in the use of standard business tools including Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com and Zoom.
    • Strong skills and experience with Excel is a major plus.
    • Any experience in sales, customer support, customer success, product marketing, and training is a plus
    • Any experience in the software industry, specifically SaaS is a plus

    WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL

    • Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation, upon which to grow
    • Build relationships with internal business partners including sales, partner sales, marketing, product management, and professional services
    • Gain a strong understanding of Sales Performance Management space and the business challenges Xactly solves
    • Learn to navigate our internal RFP system and process from start to finish

    WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL

    • Have a strong understanding of the business, and identify any opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process
    • Develop a firm understanding of Xactly sales and customer needs in the RFP and proposal process
    • Manage content within the RFP system and assist Proposal Coordinator with keeping content up-to-date

    WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL

    • Begin to implement the vision for change/impact that you have been developing over the prior six months
    • Become a super user of our RFP system and help train others around the organization
    • Work with the Sales Reps and other SCs to run/complete RFPs on your own

    WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL

    • Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide
    • Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
    • Provide domain expertise around the entire proposal system and process

Pay range: $64,000 +10% bonus Final pay determinations, salary ranges and pay increases are established by the employer. The ranges are an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. They are based upon a combination of local industry benchmarks, budget, experience, and internal comparisons. Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills, and/or hones current skills.
