The Job Alerts team is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to deliver automation solutions for end to end, integration, and even unit test coverage. A major focus for this role will be enabling continuous integration and continuous deployment for the various deployables owned by the product team. In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team to plan and execute on engineering goals and initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to work side by side with software engineers as well as mentor and work closely with other quality assurance engineers. As a key contributor to improving the quality and efficiency of releases for the product team, there will be many opportunities to deliver highly impactful work.

This role will also offer opportunities for growth through learning new technologies and processes and there will also be ample opportunity to work with engineers on other teams, across the organization.

This role is 100% remote (Pacific/Mountain/Central time zone preferred but not required).

WHO YOU ARE

• 5+ years experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and designing test architecture

• Experience with Cypress and proficiency with JavaScript preferred

• Experience with unit testing, specifically React Testing Library, a major plus

• Experience with test framework development and web application testing

• Experience with working in a Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture

• Demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python, Javascript or other OOD syntax

• Prior success as an individual QA Automation Engineer embedded within a product team

• Proficient in mentoring others in a variety of roles, at various skill levels, in technical and non-technical positions

• Experience testing API and database levels of a product or application

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent field required

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
