YOUR JOB

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for assessing and advocating high quality across an increasing amount of customized user experiences while maximizing the engineering velocity of deployed changes. Along with UX, Product, and Segment Managers, you are a subject matter expert on everything we do and build.

THE TEAM:

The Trust and Safety team stops fraudsters from taking advantage of Indeed's platform for nefarious purposes. On Indeed’s Trust and Safety Job Seeker Team, you will be working to build features to help keep Indeed’s platform free of spam and fraud content and to increase safety and security for both employers and job seekers. You will be joining a highly collaborative team of talented Engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an embedded QA engineer

• Someone who loves to learn and develop new skills

• Known for improvement ideas and for expressing solutions to problems

• Aptitude for both front-end and back-end testing

• Turning complex testing and tools into simple and fun documentation for others to use

• Collaborating with development teams on testing requirements and implementation details

• Researching tools that can be leveraged to improve quality

• Telling a story with data in a compelling way to help other make data-driven decisions

• Validating ideas by performing experiments and analyzing the results

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
