    HOW THIS JOB WORKS.

    The Real Estate team is responsible for managing and growing Indeed’s global real estate portfolio. We design, plan and implement any projects related to office expansions, build outs and moves, with a dedicated focus on providing a fun and results-oriented work environment for our Indeedians. 

    HOW YOU WORK.

    Indeed is seeking a Construction Associate to join our real estate team in NYC or Austin. Your primary function will be to support Indeed construction managers on active projects.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist construction team with management of current Indeed projects 

    • Review and maintain historic cost information and project deliverables 

    • Work with Indeed construction team to identify trends and cost saving opportunities

    • Work with Indeed construction team to develop bid documents, manage RFP processes, and level bids 

    • Work with Indeed construction team to maintain project budgets, cash flow reports, and other financial requirements 

    • Partner with other Indeed teams, such as Workplace Strategy, IT, AV, Facilities, and EE to support the design, construction, and operation of Indeed offices 

    • Contribute to design and constructability reviews for active projects 

    • Become a source of knowledge on Indeed Real Estate Guidelines and Standards

    • It is understood that Construction Associate may require guidance on some of the duties described above

     

    WHO YOU ARE

    • 2+ years of experience in real estate design or construction

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Extremely organized, especially in the collection, storage, and maintenance of project deliverables

    • Tech focused and willing to learn and own new processes and technologies

    • Forward thinking and able to anticipate next steps to support the construction team

    • Collaborative and eager to support colleagues on large assignments

    • Able to manage your own time to meet deadlines

    • Experience with the architectural design process from initial concept to construction documents 

    • Familiarity reviewing design and construction documents

    • General knowledge of basic building codes, ADA requirements and IT, mechanical, electrical, or communication systems, systems furniture, and specifications

    SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
