The Apex Experience Internship program is designed for someone eager to develop a long-term career in recruiting and/or sales. We are looking for competitive, self-motivated individuals who have the drive to succeed and desire to learn the Staffing business. Our interns will have hands-on experience and the ability to contribute to the recruiting and sales cycle. In addition our interns will travel the first week of the program to the Apex Headquarters in Richmond, VA for a week long training program led by our Training and Development team.

The Intern training program is a mixture of classroom style learning sessions, shadowing, and presentations giving our interns the opportunity to interact with all departments of Apex. After the onsite training our interns will spend the rest of the summer working closely with the managers and assigned mentor in the branch or National Delivery locations.

At the end of the Apex Experience Internship our interns will take away the following:

  • Strong understanding of the Staffing Industry
  • Ability to utilize established proven recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract and contract-to-hire employment
  • Experience presenting job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms
  • Ability to successfully screen candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
  • Experience networking for new business opportunities and referrals
  • Strong personal networking and branding skills through LinkedIn
