Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Intern will work with government clients to help develop, implement, and maintain solutions to lower the cost of supporting large application systems.

Essential Job Duties

• Meeting with the client to discuss potential problems or further details needed for the project.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and business partners to discuss implementation requirements.
• Complete business rules, create process flows and data models, and perform testing.
• Meeting with development team to discuss further recommendations and future work plans.
• Provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
• Translate business requirements into system requirements.
• Build and maintain working relationships with operating and other finance groups and provide them with subject matter expertise assistance.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Assist the Assistant Controller with coordination of information flow with both internal and external auditors.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Actively seeking a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
