We’re Your (Unofficial) Best Man, the definitive site for guys who are taking the plunge and getting married. The premise is simple: there are a million websites, magazines, and books for brides, but almost nothing for grooms. If a man wants advice about getting married, he has nowhere to turn. We’re here to change that. We talk to grooms in a language they can understand, surprising and entertaining them while giving them access to highly helpful information and some unexpected ideas.

Who We Need

Theplunge.com, the leading men’s lifestyle site focusing on weddings for grooms, is seeking a marketing intern to join our team. The role is an exciting opportunity to learn about the marketing of a content site and to help expand a growing business. Interns are also eligible to receive school credit for their work.

Our ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, super analytical, and possesses experience or interest in marketing and audience growth. The person will work closely with our team on audience development, research, campaign creation, results analysis, and idea generation. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, quickly growing environment.


Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Help develop marketing strategies to optimize audience growth
• Assist in creation of partnership decks, email campaigns, and audience growth initiatives
• Provide support for company’s email and content marketing effort
• Compile reports on the site’s digital efforts
• Develop strategic partnerships, including managing sweepstakes with various partners

• When spaces open up again, ability to work at the New York offices at 175 Varick Street
