RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a pricing analytics intern, you will experience an exciting summer gaining exposure to strategy development that shapes Carrier's overall profitability for the future while exposing you to a wide range of opportunities for professional development. The Residential Pricing Intern will be responsible for analyzing the different pricing levels across Carrier brands, developing a comprehensive analysis tool that will facilitate improvements of our current pricing structure, and recommend future needed improvements to our current pricing analysis processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track and analyze fundamental pricing structures across all brands
• Develop a comprehensive pricing analysis tool that can be replicated through all regions
• Provide analytic insight about the pricing structure for all Carrier brands
• Gather insight into our competitive pricing landscape and relate it to our current pricing structure and pricing tools
• Create visualizations and reports for the executive leadership team to inform and drive decision making

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

• Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Statistics or related field
• THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A 3.0 MINIMUM GPA OVERALL, 3.2 PREFERRED*

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas preferred (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot tables)
• Knowledge of PowerBI for reporting, metrics, and visualizations and SAP is a plus.
• Analytical Thinking - Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data in easily understood formats
• Attention to Detail - Ability to complete data requests accurately and thoroughly
• Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
• Research skills - Ability to design and conduct a systematic, objective, and critical investigation
• Self-Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one's ability using his or her drive or initiative
• Communication - Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a broad audience
