  • Responsibilities

    The Revenue Management Systems Group ensures that our current services and proposed initiatives are supported in the Worldwide Rate Repository/Publish Rate Manager and are aligned with the UPS Corporate Strategy. 

    The Support Specialist for the Revenue Management Systems Group will interact with the International and Domestic Rate Setting Groups in support of their country rate setting efforts for our customers. The Support Specialist also supports our Enterprise Billing groups and QA Test Teams by creating test data and supporting testing results. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Audits a country's proposed rates, accessorials and zone modifications or expansions
    • Applies rate chart rationale concepts when auditing a rate chart
    • Ensures all Worldwide Rate Repository tables have the proper set-up to allow accurate billing to our customers
    • Supports User Acceptance Testing of production problem log fixes for Worldwide Rate Repository and Publish Rate Manager

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Knowledge of running queries against various databases
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Polished communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint)
    • Prior database management experience - Preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
