ABOUT THE TEAM 

SAP Litmos was founded in an effort to create a learning management system (LMS) that was quick to set up, easy to manage, and fun to use by companies large and small.   

Even with our many years of growth, our commitment to being the world’s easiest-to-use LMS is why we have over 22 million users in more than 130 countries and 28 languages use the solution and the online training courses we provide.  

The Business Development internship sits with the Sales Help Desk inside the SAP Litmos Customer Experience team. Get all that? Not quite as fancy as a Turducken but stay with us here -- we’re the folks that look after almost everything that happens AFTER SAP Litmos is purchased by a customer. We handle the commercial motions, the care-and-feeding of the account and deal with any issues that come up along the way. The broader team is made up of instructional designers, mentors and onboarding specialists and customer experience executives focused on our customer’s success.  

Where do you fit in? Being part of the Sales Help Desk team puts you in one of the best positions possible to learn how everything works behind the scenes. You’ll work with inspired colleagues to help our sales executives and the wider CX team deliver quick, exceptional customer service to our account base.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Position title: SAP Litmos iXp Intern – Business Development

Location: San Ramon, CA – please note that the role will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office re-opening

Expected start date to end date: May 17, 2021 – November 17, 2021  

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL: 

• Support the sales and customer experience teams with customer renewal motions, account overage mitigation, cancellations and terminations, billing issues and other functions vital to the success of the customer, AE/CEE and business.  
• Contribute significantly to the business by taking many of the non-revenue generating tasks off the sales and customer experience teams and performing critical behind-the-scenes administrative, accounting and support functions.  
• Learn the software that runs this software business. You’ll know how things work, what tools we use and how to use them, and set yourself up perfectly for a position in administration, finance or the like.

WHO YOU ARE: 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

• Focused, detail-oriented problem solver who is excited to work behind the scenes supporting others in customer-facing positions. A unicorn. Just like you! 
• Hard working, passionate self-starter who will ask non-stop questions driven by a desire to learn. 
• Working on a college degree in accounting, HR, customer service or similar. 
• Detail oriented. Organized. Excel skills required, advanced Excel a plus.
