    ABOUT THE SAP INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE PROGRAM

     

    The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

    ABOUT THE TEAM

     

    The Executive Programs & Experience team creates strategic global and regional event programs for customers, employees, influencers, and the ecosystem. These innovative programs drive significant and tangible impact to SAP’s business.  They are aligned and sponsored by members of the SAP Executive Board.  The team’s event portfolio includes both in person and digital events.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

    Position Title: SAP iXp Intern -Executive Programs & Experience Team Location: Newtown Square, PA Expected Start Date: September 2021 Contract Duration: 6 months

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

     

    • Support communications, graphic design and project management requirements for programs within the team’s portfolio of executive events
      • Provide graphic design and testing support for event program assets, which could include: digital assets, printed materials, onsite signage, PowerPoint presentations, internal portal pages, mobile apps, registration sites & external websites
      • Provide support for HTML creation and editing for digital assets
      • Provide support for editing and proof-reading of communication assets 
      • Assist with photography searches for event communications/collateral and help manage event photo galleries
      • Provide PowerPoint support for internal program updates and/or team calls
      • Take notes during internal meetings
      • Post project assets and ongoing updates to internal collaboration sites like Microsoft Teams
    • Event Support
      • Virtual events –virtual meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or other platforms
      • Physical/hybrid events (TBC) – research best ways to engage all audiences
        • Support operational projects/tasks and follow up assigned by Event Manager
        • Manage administrative registration system updates and pull reports as needed
      • Miscellaneous
        • Manage shared event inboxes
        • Analyze post-event survey data
        • Manage event reporting
    • Other
      • Support special projects as required by team
      • Interface with internal teams & vendors as required to ensure successful project delivery

    Skills / Competencies

    • Technical skills: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Acrobat), Microsoft Office:  Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • HTML code and basic Dreamweaver knowledge is a plus
    • Language skills: Fluent in English
    • Soft skills: Strong design & communications skills.  Time management skills, ability to meet required deadlines. Organized, detail driven, responsive, and able to multi-task in a timely manner, strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, strong work ethic and positive attitude

     

    Educational Requirements Current student at a university or recent graduate – preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design & related fields.

     

    Qualifications Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employees (including internships).
