    Austin 89,000 - 120,000 USD per year

    THE TEAM:

    We are a rapidly-growing, fast-moving, highly-capable SEO team working with the most popular job site on the planet. The SEO team is responsible for continuing the organic growth across all products within Indeed. We work and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders throughout the company to align organic strategies with achieving business goals.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    This position will be working with the Enterprise team to help execute editorial and product-focused content marketing strategies. 

    The SEO Analyst will be working with the Enterprise team to conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, SEO tests, and on-site audits. The SEO Analyst will collaborate closely with content and landing page producers to drive organic performance of Enterprise content. Additionally, the Analyst will be working closely with web developers and engineers to document and fix technical SEO issues that are found during audits. 

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as a subject matter expert for SEO within the Enterprise team

    • Conduct content gap analysis and trending topic research for new content ideation

    • Use SEO tools to track performance and find opportunities

    • Evaluate keyword rankings, CTR and traffic trends to improve search engine performance

    • Work with writers to ensure that content is optimized for target keywords, featured snippets, and have the proper internal links to move users throughout the website

    • Conduct regular SEO testing to improve search performance

    • Opportunity-size business impact of developing new website features to inform product roadmaps

    • Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders

    • Report on SEO performance to business stakeholders

    WHO YOU ARE

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of SEO experience conducting keyword research, content ideation, technical SEO audits, and content review

    • Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Getstat 

    • Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics with the ability to analyze data, create reports and dashboards

    • SQL experience preferred

    • Experience working with editorial content websites/products preferred

    • Experience attaining presence in Google News and Google Discover preferred

    • Must have a good understanding of web development principles and web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript

    • Experience with project management systems such as Jira

    • Experience working and collaborating with external teams such as web development + content

    • Strong critical-thinking, research and problem-solving skills

    • Strong understanding of user journeys, online user behavior, and how to create a content funnel 

    • Excellent time-management, organization and project management skills, with attention to detail from inception through execution

    • Schema adoption experience preferred

    SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
