Calling all students... Start your career with GE Appliances! We are looking for a student to join GE Appliances' Sales organization working with our Sales Operations team. In this role, you will utilize SalesForce, Yammer and Sales Central to support our Sales employees. In addition, you will work as a vital resource for our Sales Operations Team. This is a, year-round co-op position for GE Appliances' headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is open to a co-op living outside of the Louisville area if they are able to work within standard business hours for the Eastern Time Zone.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & DO

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will focus on supporting Sales Operations, including Oracle Incentive Compensation and online content management.

• Assist in supporting the orders, returns, and exceptions for home delivery customers
• Assist in auditing NPI launches and developing content templates.
• Review compensation rules and platforms and maintain test data.
• Maintain spreadsheets and data sets for incentive compensation territory rules
• Setup new salesperson users in EBS platform
• Audit NPI checklist templates for major NPI launches
• Monthly audit of salespersons scrap tag ensuring accuracy and compliance of current process.
• Monthly spike report email distribution to sales managers ensuring compliance

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Be enrolled in college pursuing a degree and have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Candidate must be actively enrolled in school.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon. - Fri. 8:00am - 5:00pm ET) during the school year and full-time in the summer.
• If located outside of Louisville, ability to work remotely in a business-appropriate environment,
• Possess the ability to quickly develop functional knowledge of processes
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral communication skills
• Demonstrate experience in Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Be detail-oriented and have a strong level of accountability
• Be self-guided; able to work logically through daily issues
• Possess a strong work ethic; able to meet deadlines
• Be reliable; able to maintain high attendance standards

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideal candidate is entering their Junior or Senior year, scheduled to graduate within the next 2 years.

Most positions are located in Louisville, KY (our Corporate HQ). Assignments are also available in Camden, SC; Decatur, AL; LaFayette, GA; Selmer, TN. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.
