The Experiments Platform team helps Klaviyo’s customers increase engagement with _**their **_customers. We provide the platform, guidance, analysis, and insights to extract every bit of potential learning from experiments. Necessarily, our work is very collaborative within the wider engineering organization since our platform is built on top of many other core technologies at Klaviyo.

We take rigor in our statistical methods seriously. While we have a heavy focus on engineering, you will be expected to learn to apply the right machine learning or statistical tool to the right problem at the right time.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering features that enable experimentation as well as those that surface easily interpretable and actionable insights. You will work directly with our team, our product manager, our designer, and similar counterparts in other engineering teams to create clean, well-architected code that delivers real value to all of our customers from small entrepreneurs to enterprise organizations.

• Build a platform that enables robust experimentation and drives learning for customers
• Fully shepherd features from conception through rigorous experimentation to deployment
• Enable testing at scale. > 60k unique campaigns are tested via our platform each month
• Provide features that enable rigorous analysis without the need for a statistical background

Who You Are:

• Desire to build clean software and a drive to push others to do the same
• Interested in data science while primarily focusing on difficult engineering problems
• Experience building full-stack, or large portions of, full-stack applications
• Tendency to think about customers first and focus on features that will deliver real value
• Willingness to give and receive feedback at all stages of development
• Experience leading or co-leading substantial projects with measurable impact
