$109,138 to $130,000 USD per year

YOUR JOB

Be an active contributor during the design and implementation phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. Work with Product Management and Developers to assist in research and fact-finding to develop or refine solutions. Provide feedback to the team on product improvement ideas. Investigate and reproduce problems reported by customers. Work with customers and your team to identify an adequate solution. Apply software engineering best practices and clean code principles while implementing bug fixes and feature enhancements. This includes writing tests and documentation to support code changes. Collaborate with your team by creating and reviewing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, proof of concepts, and through code reviews. Partner with neighboring, cross-functional, and pilot teams to integrate solutions and solicit feedback. Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and practices related to automated testing. 

WHO YOU ARE

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

• Four years experience using integration test frameworks to write UI and service layer tests and building custom plugins in pytest, junit5, cypress, or testNG. Must have experience writing automation from scratch and experience with the following: End-to-end testing using Selenium; Cross-browser testing using SauceLabs; Email testing using Mailosaur; Mobile testing using Appium; and Accessibility testing using Axe Core.

• Two years professional experience writing unit tests and mocks for features using at least one of the following: unittest, jest, or junit5.

• Two years of professional scripting experience in Python, Groovy, Javascript or Bash.

• Two years professional experience with front-end development using all the following: JavaScript, CSS, and component-driven UI development with React.

• Two years professional experience with backend server languages or frameworks, including at least one of the following: Typescript, Javascript, Node.js, Python, Django, or Flask.

• Two years professional experience using database technologies including mySQL, Mongo or similar.

• One year professional experience using Figma or related to create mockups and wireframes.

• One year professional experience creating ETL or data pipelines.

• One year professional experience using a test result or coverage dashboard including at least one of the following: Allure, ReportPortal.io, Sauce Insights, Coveralls, CodeCov, or SonarQube or equivalent.

• One year professional experience with software review, build, and deployment systems, including: GitLab, Jenkins, Github, or Docker.

• Demonstrated knowledge of test management software, including TestRail or similar.

Experience may be gained concurrently.
