AWS Educate is Amazon's global initiative to provide students comprehensive resources for building skills in the cloud. It is a no-cost curriculum providing access to content, training, pathways, AWS services.

Solutions Architects use their knowledge of the latest cloud computing technologies to work with customers to build innovative AWS cloud infrastructures and solve technical challenges. In this pathway, which contains about 45 hours of learning, you'll be introduced to skills a Solutions Architect uses daily to help build cloud computing solutions.

In this pathway, you'll explore:

1. Different scripting languages necessary for this role, including Python, Javascript, and using the command line interface
2. Software development architecture, and efficient DevOps strategies
3. Data related topics including data management, migration, structures, warehouse/lakes, as well as relational and non-relational databases
4. Various platform technologies, including Windows and Linux, and virtualization
5. Networking topics, including architecture, protocols, virtual private clouds, provisioning, directory service, and troubleshooting tips

This survey course is aimed at individuals interested in cloud topics with little or no working knowledge of AWS. You do not need to be currently enrolled in college/ university to apply for this course, but we recommend you use a school email to sign up!
