YOUR JOB

We’re looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team here at Indeed.

Responsibilities:

• As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be working closely with the Data Infrastructure organization to guide them in maximizing feature velocity, achieving high availability, and establishing SLOs across products and services. Our data is a business-critical component for most of our software systems, and the Data Infrastructure team is responsible for ensuring that all of it is highly available, scalable, and can be accessed performantly within Indeed.

• BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience writing code in Java, Go, Shell, Perl, Python, or a similar language

• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Kafka, and similar)

• Strong interest in SRE topics like SLOs, resilience, scaling, performance, and more

Who You Are

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
