As we double our scale, we need to proactively monitor and react to changes with the assistance of automation alongside operations.

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Apply Integrations team, you'll help plan, design and implement this fundamental shift in how we manage Indeed Applies. You'll partner alongside a technical product manager, an engineering manager, and a team of 5 software engineers. You'll have primary ownership over the architectural decisions and strategy to scale our operational systems to well beyond today's volume.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for workflow and operational systems. Thrives on simplifying complex information. Loves to learn and develop new skills continuously. Has a strong sense of ownership in every application they build.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience in full stack Software Engineering.

• Lead discussions on architecture, design, and product roadmapping.

• Strong coding skills with any of the following: Modern Javascript Frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), ES5/6 Javascript, Java, Kotlin (for back-end server side programming).

• Ability to fully own and execute projects and new feature deliverables.

• Experience leading teams of less experienced engineers and leading code review sessions.

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or similar field.

• Previous entrepreneurial / start-up experience a plus

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
