    YOUR JOB.

    Within FINANCE, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT, we work with our clients to understand their developmental needs and connect them with resources and content that will allow them to learn and grow their skill set. This role will support all roles and functions on the Finance team, with career development and training from day one. Additionally, we support other teams who may also benefit from understanding these concepts.

    As the Strategist, Learning & Development - Finance, you must be able to partner well with internal support teams and key stakeholders. You will assist in developing new strategies and continued improvements of Finance’s training programs to ensure we’re delivering a world-class learning & development curriculum and experience to the Finance team. Tasks include conceptualization, design, facilitating production, and quality reviews before creation and delivery of materials. 

    You will play a key role in the organization by ensuring our learning strategy and engagement efforts support the company’s goals. You will also ensure that content design is rooted in adult learning theory and analyze the effectiveness of our learning programs, facilitation, program management, and relationship management. 

    A successful candidate is a highly collaborative internal consultant and can draw on their knowledge to create and implement pragmatic solutions that drive the learning agenda forward. You will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with ambiguity, be able work independently and prioritize tasks, have experience in curriculum design, coordinate projects between various departments, and provide other general support as needed.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Training Manager, Finance L&D Strategists, and SMEs to develop effective and engaging training curricula 

    • Build and maintain on-boarding curriculum, continuing education programs, and other training identified for global use 

    • Collaborate with the Finance team and management to identify content gaps and provide viable solutions 

    • Through training needs analysis help determine training to be created such as eLearning, vLearning, ILT, vILT, and other training materials that support a blended learning approach

    • Meet project schedules, work within budgeted hours, and work with the team to ensure quality

    • Align training objectives, content, and assessments with business goals

    • Solicit and review feedback from participants and key stakeholders, including the Learning Experience team

    • Identify opportunities to implement Kirkpatrick evaluation strategies across all our L&D programs 

    • Monitor and analyze trends and effectiveness from program assessments and propose improvements

    • Grow and maintain your knowledge of Indeed’s products, teams, structure and Instructional Design principles 

    • Assist with execution of special projects as needed

    WHO YOU ARE

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3-5 years professional experience in designing learning components supported by Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Systems Design with companion portfolio

    • Experience in using learning development tools such as Adobe CC, Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, InDesign, Elucidat, Vyond, and other video/audio editing and content development tools

    • Proficient in learning management systems, terminology, and designing to learning industry standards (e.g., SCORM/AICC/xAPI)

    • Demonstrated experience in applying the principles of instructional design and learning & development methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick

    • Able to design and create complex end-to-end learning experiences

    • Able to mentor others and provide guidance on instructional design techniques

    • Experience with delivering train-the-trainer sessions 

    • Able to facilitate training needs analysis to evaluate the current state of learning materials and propose metrics-based solutions

    • Ability to manage multiple strategic projects, work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing products, deadline, and requirements

    • Strong experience in project planning, execution, and coordination

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Effective collaborator and communicator 

    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive 

    • Proficient with office productivity tools (Google Suite) 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Education, or related field preferred

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
