Dow Jones’ global Cybersecurity team is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support its Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team and initiatives. The role is based out of the Dow Jones Princeton office and will be a part of the Cybersecurity team providing security awareness, assessments, and support to a global organization.

This individual will help the GRC team automate compliance workflows using a range of tools, such as python, AWS lambda and/or workflow automation software. This individual will also gain insights into how we comply with global data privacy and security frameworks and learn how to practically implement compliance-as-code across multiple platforms and technologies.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Research different methods that may be used to automate compliance workflows and work with the team to architect a viable solution
• Support the team with the automation of multiple compliance workflows
• Shadow GRC analysts and other members of the Cybersecurity team

Knowledge/Experience Preferred:

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least two years of school successfully completed
• Relevant academic domain knowledge in an engineering field of study
• Knowledge of cloud computing environments
• Practical experience in software development including cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and working with APIs is desired but not required
• Demonstrates excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
