CX&M SUMMER INTERN: OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF STAFF

Vista is looking for an intellectually curious and uber-organized go-getter, who is passionate about marketing and our vision to support small businesses (or has a strong appetite to learn about this space!). Reporting to the Associate Chief of Staff to the Vista CMO, you will support critical projects and initiatives for the Customer Experience and Marketing Organization (CX&M). 

This is a full-time paid summer internship (May - August 2022), with the potential to extend into a part-time position during the school year. Throughout the summer, you will have opportunities to network with leaders both within the CX&M organization and across other functions, through speaker sessions, mentorship experiences and more. As a remote internship, candidates can be located anywhere in the United States. A company-issued laptop will be provided for the duration of the internship. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Support the Office of the Chief of Staff to the CMO across various key initiatives, including but not limited to: 
  • Learning and Development: Curate and socialize relevant learning opportunities for different audiences within our team, including a weekly roundup of current webinars, events and learning experiences.
  • Process Efficiency: Support the streamlining of critical team processes including standing up a new team member on-boarding hub and developing a standard team taxonomy for BOX documents.
  • Communication: Facilitate the publication and distribution of a periodic team newsletter
• Participate in internal leadership meetings, taking and circulating notes where needed
• Support the Associate Chief of Staff in the planning and preparation for live team-wide programs including monthly All-Hands, Brown Bag sessions, etc.
• Partner with Human Resources Business Partner, Internal Communications and CMO Leadership team on other initiatives as needed
• Perform ad-hoc research into emerging business opportunities for Vista in support of the CMO Leadership team.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college degree program with a focus on marketing, communications, technology, business or equivalent (rising junior or senior)
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work both collaboratively and independently
• Self-starter with strong organization and project management skills
• Working knowledge of collaboration tools including Slack, Confluence, Zoom, BOX, etc.
