    Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist II

    Location: Cincinnati, OH

    Summary:

    The supply Chain Specialist role will support the Procurement team in analysis and collecting data on materials and services in accordance with established policies and procedures to support Commercial Operations and Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) requirements. Utilize SAP and other systems to better understand material requirements, constraints and movements to help achieve the highest level of supply chain performance. Act as primary point of contact with external vendors, focusing on data clarity, negotiation and vendor relationship management. This strategically focused role will support internal customers, Corporate initiatives, and be a central figure for data implementation and process improvement for Procurement and Planning Groups.

    Essential Functions:

    1. Support Procurement, Commodity Specialist, and Corporate Center of Excellence teams to ensure materials and/or services are acquired to successfully meet the site requirements in a timely fashion.
    2. Assist in support of performance goals including Right First Time, On Time in Full Delivery, Purchase Price Variance savings targets, and Quality Assurance.
    3. Analyze, review and enter data in support of strategic initiatives to support procurement and planning of materials and packing supplies.
    4. Manage supplier communications and data requests in order to support group strategic and project initiative.
    5. Implement and modify procurement ERP requirements.
    6. Revitalize group standard processes to better support data analytics and cost savings initiatives.
    7. Partner with Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure proper project and production readiness for commercial programs.

    Supervision:

    This individual does not have Supervisory responsibilities.

    Education:

    Have (or will obtain by December 2020) a BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Management or related field

    Experience:

    1. 0-2 years Supply Chain related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    2. Experience in or knowledge of enterprise business systems and business software (specifically, SAP) is preferred.
    3. Experience in or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

    2. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to quickly and effectively resolve conflict.

    5. Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
    6. Concise and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    7. Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    8. Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

    Benefits are available to: Regular, full-time employee scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week and Regular, part-time employee scheduled to work 20 hours but less than 30 hours per week.
