As a WEX Health Systems Engineer Intern, you will assist with monitoring and deployment of systems and providing Tier 2/3 support for issues. You will work on exciting projects alongside our very talented professionals and will have the opportunity to ask lots of questions, make valuable career contacts, and get paid doing it. Qualified individuals will have an interest in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Generate, review and track trouble tickets
• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems and system management tools
• Take ownership of customer incidents and resolve them per guidelines set
• Provide ongoing communication to both support and engineering staff during time of outage or service impact
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Document processes on how to resolve issues

Qualifications:

• Must currently be pursuing a degree towards Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science or related field
• Effective teamwork, written and verbal communication skills, analytical and customer service skills
• Self-starter capable of working independently or in groups
• Possess a positive attitude with strong work ethic, integrity and honesty
