The TechX Internship is a 9-month learning experience that begins in October for students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program. As an intern you will participate in projects alongside with some of the best senior technologists in the industry. Career explorers, you will also have the opportunity to rotate teams giving you exposure to a wide variety of technologies across our organization. • Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree, in Electrical Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Graduating after November 2022

Desired Qualifications

• Database Administration (design, building and maintaining structured databases)
• Databases Engines (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, and/or MS Access)
• Proficient Excel skills and Strong SQL query and coding skillset
• Programming (visual basic, python, C#, and/or C++)
• Visualization Tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik, and/or Tableau)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to develop and articulate technical strategies
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced teamwork environment
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Support multi-functional teams and build best practices to implement
• Collaborate actively with all market engineering functional teams – RF, Operations and Development
• Basic understanding of RF principles and communication systems is a plus.

This Intern will program/code, build/maintain databases, and create spectacular visuals. This Intern will provide recommendations to develop guidelines on the design, planning, capacity management, and deployment for T-Mobile's network. The Intern will participate in the development of market standards, documents, processes, and practices. The Intern will also look for opportunities for operational improvement and provides compelling business cases for change with proven cost savings or efficiencies.

This Intern will be an active contributor for the creation of new Windows tools to improve efficiency. This includes Excel/Access Visual Basic (VBA), Ericsson Python API Automation, PowerBI and/or HTML5 Web-Based Charting & GIS visuals/reports, and database administrations (designing tables procedures).

Must be open to learning Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering Principles

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs design of new sites, and solutions and prepares configuration data using Asset
• Performs hourly and daily statistical monitoring and reporting of radio network key performance indicators
• Collects, processes and reviews drive test data
