We are looking for a self-starter and someone who is highly dedicated to personal perfection to support the Treasury Operations & Payment Hub teams within the Treasury Department at Freddie Mac.

Our Impact:

As an intern, you will be paired with one of the below teams within the Treasury Department.

• Treasury Operations (McLean / Dallas): Treasury Operations is responsible for ensuring that cash and securities activities are processed in accordance with regulatory and corporate compliance guidelines.
• Payment Hub (McLean): The Payment Hub will centralize payments and messaging across our lines of business and back office systems to enhance treasury management, increase straight-through processing, and deliver enterprise-wide operational control.

Your Impact:

As a Treasury intern, you will be able to deepen your technological knowledge while also learning about Freddie Mac’s key role in the secondary mortgage market. Interns are expected to support the following activities:

Treasury Operations Intern:

• Process payments and securities,
• Support banking relationships,
• Maintain payment portals,
• Perform bank fee analysis,
• Monitor payment activities,
• Publish management reporting,
• Implement new products, services, and applications
• Review and enhance our existing procedures

Payment Hub Intern:

• Develop innovative, high-quality software solutions in an Agile development environment,
• Define business analysis and user needs and processes,
• Participate in requirements analysis,
• Partner with various other product teams in identifying and implementing solutions
• Help identify risks, issues, and product dependencies

• Rising Seniors with 3.0+ GPA
• Expected graduation date of December 2021 or May 2022
• Open to many/all majors; business majors preferred
