As a Manager, you will help UPS Capital grow and provide valuable services across the globe.

    The UPS Capital Solutions Systems User Manager leads the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.They'll be involved in full systems life cycle management (i.e., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of systems and applications software) delivered on time and within budget. This position participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position develops and leads AD project plans and integrations and collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies. They'll be responsible for the work of others, resource allocations, and decision-making affecting the success of assigned projects (i.e., results, deadlines, and budget). This position provides consultation, training, and subject matter expertise for applications’ development, maintenance, and support.

    The UPS Capital Solutions Systems User Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining integration applications at UPS Capital. Candidate must have experience in developing SOA/Micro Services based applications using Java technologies. Drive product vision, development and execution of our next gen API products. They will be the voice of our internal and external customers, developing a deep understanding of target buyer personas -e.g. Head of Sales/Operations.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    Advanced-level proficiency:

    • Containerized application development/Micro Services architecture
    • API Management
    • Integration Technologies and Frameworks (e.g. WebMethods, ESBs or similar)
    • RESTful API/ JSON/XML

    Intermediate-level proficiency:

    • Java Script
    • T-SQL/ PL-SQL
    • Azure or AWS Cloud Platform
    • No-SQL Technologies (Mongo/Dynamo preferred)
    • Java Application Development
    • Third Party Identity Management (OneLogin, Okta, AD Federation, etc.)
    • Spring frameworks

    Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Preferred
