    YOUR JOB

    We are looking to hire a UX Designer.

    As a UX designer on the Indeed Research UX team, you’ll use your full set of UX and UI skills to design and build products for job seekers and small and medium sized businesses. You’ll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and designers to shape new product offerings and ship feature improvements for Indeed’s co-branded products. This work is especially exciting because you’ll wear multiple hats in a fast-paced innovative environment. You’ll partner closely with product management to define the strategic roadmap for new products and features. You’ll validate your designs through qualitative user research and A/B testing (working with a product manager). You’ll understand how to apply our existing design language, but also proactively seek opportunities to extend and improve our design system to elevate the design of our products.

    Your primary responsibilities include:

    • Deeply understanding the motivations of employers in the United States and around the world.

    • Raising the bar with high-fidelity designs that define the user experience and user interface for new and existing features across Indeed’s co-branded products.

    • Leading design discussions and design reviews with the ability to continually improve quality across our products and user experiences.

    • Partnering with a variety of disciplines, including product managers, UX researchers, content strategists, engineers, and product scientists.

    • Identifying solutions to problems that help product management reach their business goals.

    • Collaborating with stakeholders while being able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • 3+ years professional experience working in product user experience design. Experience working on a cross-functional team in an enterprise environment is a plus.

    • A portfolio that demonstrates strength in visual design, storytelling, and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs, highlighting your process and design solutions.

    • Experience with mobile-first experiences and design systems, with a demonstrated ability to think through end-to-end solutions with a strong user-centered approach.

    • Systems thinker who can develop scalable solutions and experiences that can be configurable across markets.

    • Ability to collaborate flawlessly with the team while building positive relationships across disciplines.

    • Ability to work independently and autonomously while delivering impactful outcomes and results.

    • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline.

    SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
