    YOUR JOB

    As a UX Designer with the Resume Search Team, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members to create elegant and simple solutions for large, enterprise customers with complex hiring scenarios. The ideal candidate will be strong in both UX and visual design and have a portfolio of work demonstrating customer-centric, data informed strategic solutions that are well executed.

The Indeed UX team is a multidisciplinary team of interaction, visual, and brand designers, content strategists, writers, researchers, and design technologists. We collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and partner design disciplines to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face hiring and getting hired. Most importantly, our team is expected to deliver results and to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Client Success, and Sales to help us achieve our business goals.

    • Incorporate data gathered through user research, customer service and sales to create designs that range from small features to large, complex, visionary experiences.

    • Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience, working with design technology as needed.

    • Quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs.

    • Collaborate with engineering to ensure seamless and continuous development and deployment.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • 3+ years of product design experience.

    • Experience working on a cross-functional team in a B2B environment is a plus.

    • A portfolio that demonstrates strength in visual design, storytelling, and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs, highlighting your process and design solutions.

    • Customer-focused, with experience collaborating with UX research or using design research methods to turn customer insights into tangible solutions.

    • Effective communicator who can articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback.

    • Ability to think strategically and manage responsibilities against defined milestones, and plan with minimal day-to-day oversight.

    • Ability to create designs and prototypes using Figma.

    • Basic understanding of WCAG 2.0; experience adhering to AA standards a plus.

    • Bachelors degree in design, psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), a related field or equivalent experience.

    SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
