    YOUR JOB

    Brand Systems is an interdisciplinary mix of interaction designers, visual designers, animators, strategists, and copywriters focused on building the core brand identity across our marketing and product experiences. We collaborate with Marketing, UX, Product, Engineering, and other design disciplines to deliver creative user experience solutions to meet the needs of our job seekers and employers.

    As a UX Visual Designer with the Brand Systems team, your role is to help establish design patterns for the global brand system and partner with teams to execute them consistently throughout the Indeed ecosystem. This role will specifically focus on marketing and communications patterns, exploring inventive ways to tell our product and brand story. 

    You know how to balance the poetic and the practical in order to find solutions that are well crafted, user-centric and feasible within the technical framework. You are as comfortable owning a digital layout as you are perfecting a graphical treatment. As our identity continues to evolve, this will require upholding our quality bar for design excellence and becoming an ambassador for our brand standards. 

    Join our creative team and lead the effort in our new brand initiative through Indeed Design.

    • Understand the existing design system, and establish complementary design tenets to help iterate and evolve the brand guidelines.

    • Develop insights and solutions based on evidence and empathy, data and intuition - then validate with research.

    • Evangelize layout, type, color and visual craft to enhance the customer journey and experience.

    • Deep understanding of both vector based and photographic based design elements and how to create, edit and evolve these assets.

    • Willingness to challenge the status quo in order to support the business and advocate for the customer

    • Foster collaboration across a variety of disciplines including Marketing, UX, Content, Research, Product, Engineering, and Program Management

    • Foster community across the design org through participation in critiques, design sprints, design jams, hackathons, and workshops

    WHO YOU ARE

    • 3-5+ years of professional experience working in digital marketing design and/or product design

    • A portfolio that demonstrates experience designing elegant and brand-forward visual treatments with a deep understanding of type, layout, production and shipping pixel-perfect design concepts.

    • Familiarity with information architecture, interaction design, design research, and prototyping with a passion and expertise for at least one.

    • Relentless attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Proficient knowledge and experience working with Figma, Illustrator and PhotoShop

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

    SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
