As a part of the Footwear Development team, you’ll spend your summer making an impact on your team, learning from others through mentoring, networking, and training, and experiencing what it’s like to live in a great city working for a fast-paced, innovative, and growing company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help drive product creation execution strategy by interacting with merchandising, manufacturing, design, and sourcing
• Assist building leads for the seasonal product calendar, executing against required delivery dates for line reviews, salesman samples, pricing targets, and production confirmation
• Refines and sharpens the creation process as needed
• Analyzes the competitive landscape and evolving technologies to develop a strong product roadmap
• Translates customer needs and technology directions into product definitions
• Writes clearly understood documents targeted at various audiences (R&D, engineering, customers, analysts, press, management) as well as making presentations to large/small groups
• Contributes to the design process by providing costing or technical solutions to creative ideas

CRITICAL SKILLS:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment and take risk
• Ability/experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
• Understanding of patterns, blueprints, molds, and materials

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Development
• Support and motivate their peers to achieve operational goals as well as their own personal goals.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to change
• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Graduating between December 2020- June 2021
• Previous internship experience a plus
