YOUR JOB

Corporate Systems is the technology partner for Indeed's Finance and HR departments, and is part of the Business Technology group.  We build, operate, maintain, and grow the platforms and applications for our Finance and HR teams, with Workday as our core platform within the ecosystem.  We partner closely with our internal customers to deliver technology solutions needed to grow and improve our core business processes and needs.

This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Systems Integrations. The primary responsibility of an Integrations Developer I within Corporate Systems is to deliver simple, high-quality solutions for your work items across Workday HCM and Finance and partnering with the HR and Finance Solution Delivery teams to understand how your work affects users and stakeholder groups. This individual will engage with solution delivery, architects, quality assurance, project managers, business partners and operations. This individual must be able to proactively identify blockers to their work and engage appropriate help and will be expected to contribute documentation that relates to their work items.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and modify simple, high-quality integration solutions using Workday technologies - EIB, Cloud Connect, Studio.

• Create and modify Advanced custom web service enabled reports utilized by multiple systems.

• Develop knowledge of the team's established processes and integration runbook; participate in integration impact analysis for changes to Workday.

• Work individually or within project teams and participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support.

• Collaborate effectively with your team and stakeholders in HR, Finance, Corporate Systems and the broader Business Technology organization; participate in information sharing activities across Corporate Systems.

• Work closely with the Corporate Systems Integrations Manager to prioritize your work and execute on work items with well-specified requirements.

• Provide accurate delivery timelines for assigned work and deliver on time.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as necessary.

• Maintain proper technical and change management documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls.

• Participate in and validate Production migrations.

• Configure integration security related to your integration work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 2+ years of Workday Integration development experience utilizing Workday’s integration services EIB, Cloud Connect, Studio.

• 2+ years report development using Advanced and web service enabled reports.

• Have solid understanding and hands on experience with various technologies like REST and SOAP APIs, WSDL, XML and XSLT.

• Understanding of Workday data and structure, business processes, reporting and integration system security.

• Understanding of Workday Integration processes and best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines.

• Strong oral and written communication skills. 

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

• Proficiency with productivity software like Microsoft Office and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of software development, testing, maintenance, and support.

• Knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products strongly desired - Confluence & Jira

SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
