    Position Summary:

    The Associate HR Analyst supports several HR functions including HR System Administration, HR Analytics and Reporting, Benefits, and Compensation. The incumbent will work closely with members of the Compensation, Benefits, and HR Systems team to support the delivery of these processes. This position works with sensitive and confidential data, analytics, and reporting and will play an important role in HR system administration, data management, reporting and analysis, as well as supporting the implementation of new programs and processes for the firm.

    Essential Duties:

    • Responsible for working with highly sensitive and confidential data
    • Support the Reporting and Analytics function in HR by producing various scheduled and ad-hoc workforce reports, scrubbing data, and completing first-level analysis as assigned by SVP, Compensation & Benefits
    • Support team in performing HRIS system administration: employee life cycle events/processes in the system, performing system-related updates, conducting periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data
    • Support the administration of the performance management system and setup of annual and periodic performance processes
    • Provide support to the Benefits process by performing monthly reconciliation on benefits reports and billing from external providers
    • Perform regular reconciliations and checks of employee data, accounts and access across HR systems and other internal and external data sources
    • Make accurate and timely entries in HR systems as requested
    • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of HR department software solutions
    • Provide support to all HR system users; respond to inquiries from internal and external clients and vendors in a timely manner and escalate issues when necessary
    • Make recommendations for improvements to HR department processes and procedures; look for ways to handle work more efficiently
    • Complete other administrative tasks and HR projects as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 2+ years of related experience, including experience with reporting and analytical work
    • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., vlookups, index, match, pivot tables, etc.)
    • Experience working in a corporate environment, preferably in an HR department/function

    • Demonstrated ability to be highly accurate and detail-oriented under time constraints
    • Solid verbal and written communication skills and can interact with all levels of the organization

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
    • Possesses strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
    • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude; works well independently and in a team environment
    • Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to high standard of professional conduct; experienced working with sensitive data
  • Desired skills
    • Experience with, or good working knowledge of, MS Access, other relational databases, and/or SQL
    • Experience in a report-writing software (e.g. IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports, etc.)
