As a Business Analyst , you will support more senior members of the team to deploy appropriate analytical resources to the highest priority strategic initiatives and ongoing business activities, and you will be asked to partner across the organization to arrive at insightful business recommendations.

• You will interpret analyses and presents findings.

  • Synthesizes data for executive consumption through memos and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Makes recommendations based on detailed analysis with an understanding of critical assumptions and connectivity to business priorities.

• You have experience communicating trends and track key KPIs via dashboards and reports to a wide-ranging business audience.

  • Assists in the collection of metrics and reporting for communication to leadership.

• You will support projects, including assessments of new strategic opportunities, across distribution.

• You can create business cases for new projects. Makes recommendations based on understanding critical assumptions, expected return on investment and break-even analysis.

• You have performed data manipulation and analytics, while working with business functions and more senior members of the team to identify and to respond to business problems.

• Performs a variety of analyses, may use industry publications, industry databases and internal resources to complete research.

• Ensures understanding of all relevant data and business areas.

• Analyzes external and internal trends that impact business or system performance and recommend ways to improve outcomes.

• Develops and recommends process improvements that enhance service levels.

• You will use analytical models to solve business problems.

  • Participates in discussions with more senior members of the team to acquire information for developing analyses and forecasts.

Skills/Qualifications:

• B.S. in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics
• 3 years working experience with corporate finance, strategy or asset management
• Knowledge of excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills with a d i verse group of associates and senior business leaders.

Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $84,894-$135,830

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
