As a Compensation Analyst, you will be a critical member of the Global Compensation Team. You will join Capital Group’s Human Resources organization which is responsible for driving the people dimension of our business strategy. Working alongside other Capital Group compensation professionals, you will partner with HR generalists and business leaders to develop, implement and support our global compensation programs for client groups in North America, Europe and Asia. You will utilize your critical thinking and analytical skills to advise on compensation recommendations, bonus and variable compensation plans and market study / job analysis.

To thrive in this role, you are a creative thinker with a passion for teamwork and driving the business. Using tools like SAP, SuccessFactors, Excel, Tableau and Alteryx, you’ll contribute to the overall mission of the Compensation team to ensure Capital Group’s competitiveness in the marketplace. No matter where you may be in your career, we will continue to develop your skills and experience in the Compensation Management discipline, as well as your communication, presentation, data visualization and technical skills. Initially, this role may be located where Capital Group has an office, and eventually, this role will be located either in Los Angeles or Irvine, CA, or San Antonio TX.

• You have previous experience in organizing and analyzing data into actionable conclusions and recommendations for presentation in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner.
• You understand the importance of mindful communication when working within an inclusive environment and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
• You’re highly proficient in excel and may have working knowledge of enterprise systems such SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors or technologies including Alteryx or Tableau.
• You possess a strong numbers orientation and attention to detail.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree.
