As a Compliance Associate, you will help to support the Legal and Compliance department's support of our mutual fund boards - providing support and service to our independent board member community. You will coordinate with others on the team and across Capital to ensure the successful operation of the board and committee meeting cycle of quarterly meetings. You will help schedule, produce and distribute board material, memos, and related deliverables. You will review registration statements and other reports and recommends changes in content to fund attorney or document production team. You may be asked to help with special projects, such as new fund launches, fund reorganizations, independent director seminars and new fund share classes. Success in the role may lead to becoming an officer of some of our mutual funds. To thrive in this role, you enjoy new challenges in a fast-paced environment, and you are constantly trying to improve existing processes. Experience in the securities or investment management industry is a plus but not necessary.
