    As a Corporate Event Planner, you will be responsible for the design, development, planning, execution, budgeting and overall success of a range of complex global corporate meetings and events for the organization. You will be excited to play an integral part in creating impactful experiences and meaningful connections that support Capital's enterprise-wide priorities. You are well versed in navigating a high degree of complexity with stakeholders at all levels. You've built a career planning and executing seamless events and know the level of attention to detail this role demands. You are a master in creating backup plans and alternative options when unforeseen circumstances arise. You're highly resourceful, composed and empathetic. You are creative individual with an eye for design, producing original ideas and content. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, excellent problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity are essential for success.

  • Qualifications

    • You are a self-starter who applies a high degree of ownership, focus and attention managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
    • You have exceptional communication skills, can adjust content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders and can analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to drive results.
    • You regularly monitor industry trends and move beyond the traditional ways of doing things to inspire the development of new event experiences and activations for in-person and virtual events.
    • You are a progressive thinker with a passion for streamlining processes and executing project plans individually as well as collaboratively.
    • You readily learn and adopt new technologies (CVENT, WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, etc)
    • You are an event producer who can manage a meeting from concept to execution in all aspects of event production including venue/platform selection, audio/visual technology, live experiential events, food and beverage, room configurations, transportation, accommodations, honorariums and amenities.
    • You can manage a strict budget by negotiating contracts, reviewing invoices and verifying services or goods provided for payment; then processing reconciliations and reimbursements.
