TCW sponsors a summer internship program for undergraduate and graduate students desiring to pursue a career in asset management or a related field. Along with the valuable learning experience the interns gain with their assigned groups, TCW arranges a program of events designed to enhance the summer experience with us. Interns enjoy opportunities to meet directly with some of our senior executives, attend classes/lecture series led by key investment personnel at our firm, and enjoy networking events. The summer intern program typically runs from mid-June through mid-August, a total of 8-10 weeks.

Position Summary

For summer 2021 in our downtown Los Angeles office, we have two internship positions within our Credit team (Credit Research and Credit Trading) in the Fixed Income Group. The intern will work under the guidance of the senior analysts on the team and will be assigned to complete various tasks that include: (i) monitoring industry and specific credits on an intra-day basis & providing fundamental research analysis, (ii) new issue evaluation, and (iii) formulation/communication of investment ideas.

We are seeking 1st year MBA candidates with strong accounting, analytical and research skills. Ideal candidates for the internship must have excellent communication skills and strong work ethics.
