    As a Financial Copy Editor, you will be a member of Capital Group's broader Marketing team and support the production of creative, customized content for your assigned area of business. You will have responsibility for ensuring accuracy and consistency across our external communications.

    • You have a bachelor's degree .
    • You have a minimum of five years' experience as a copy editor in a professional setting.
    • You have a working knowledge of investment concepts and/or are willing to learn about them.
    • You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
    • You are comfortable working with financial reports, charts, and data-driven financial communications.
    • You have experience copy edit ing , proofread ing and fact-check ing content in marketing materials, newsletters, fact sheets, web content, financial reports, and other related materials.
    • You can recommend edits based on knowledge of target audience, compliance regulations and internal/external style guides.
    • Your input will help ensure accuracy and improve overall tone, clarity, and conciseness.
    • You have experience working with different media channels - print, email, web , conference presentations and video.
    • You are able to prioritize and complete a steady stream of data-heavy assignments in a timely manner.
    • You thrive in collaborative team settings and enjoy working closely with writers and designers.
    • You are comfortable working within a hybrid work environment and can work out of our Los Angeles office three days per week.

    Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $72,745-$116,392

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
