THE FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH GROUP (FRG) SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM IS A HIGHLY SELECTIVE 8-10 WEEK INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT CAPITAL GROUP, ONE OF THE WORLD'S LEADING INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT FIRMS. We invest in public companies and fixed-income securities around the globe and are challenged with bringing unique perspectives and long-term thinking to our research and decision making.

The mission of the Fundamental Research Group is to deepen capabilities to provide superior, relevant, and comprehensive research support as a source of competitive advantage in our investment research process. As one of our FRG Summer Associates, you will work closely and collaborate with peers to deliver valuable insights, research data, and analysis that will be used to help inform investment decisions. We will provide you with structured training and an ability to work with and learn from experienced associates.

THE FRG SUMMER OFFERS YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Work on projects and assignments with growing complexity, seeking direction and guidance from senior leaders as appropriate.
• Learn new things and adjust to varying work styles and expectations.
• Participate in social and networking events with interns, associates, and senior leaders.

FRG Summer Associates will be considered for full-time roles within the Fundamental Research Group upon successful completion of the internship.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Current undergrad student graduating in 2023.
• Basic knowledge of financial modeling, accounting, and valuation.
• Undergraduate students studying Finance, Financial Accounting, Business Administration or related majors are encouraged to apply.
