Provides a global and strategic context for associates when sharing information and making decisions. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned. Order Management (OM) Serves as escalation point for associates regarding highly technical and first-time scenarios (e.g., authorizing complex investment orders, and responding to complex inquiries from portfolio managers and research analysts).

Leads the changes and evolution to our investment process and helps shape/influence OM's role in the investment process. Demonstrates ownership and represents OM/GIC in a specific area of significant operational importance for the business using key technical expertise, experience and relationships, influences PIOs, Mandate Managers, Research Portfolio Coordinators and other business areas by providing recommendations to solve Order Management issues.

Assesses evolving market practices and leverages relationships with the Investment Group, Network Management and Trading to identify and implement changes in areas that require improvement related to Order Management. Represents OM and GIC by providing technical expertise and risk management to resolve immediate operational issues and mitigate future risk (e.g., issues related to market conditions, SWAT meetings).

Demonstrates full knowledge in one or more functions within Global Investment Control (GIC) and is an experienced contributor. Sets the tone in the department by consistently modeling and supporting Capital's core values. Pursues team and GIC strategic work with a lens toward stakeholder management, creating global transparency and keeping in-line with our mission and vision.

Leads or participates in high visibility projects with broad business impact. Provides leadership through a high degree of influence, communication, and drive for results. Utilizes expertise and skills to provide guidance on operations issues, technical question, business processes and talent development.

Anticipates future business needs and identifies opportunities for solution development to enhance GICs operations and processes, while positioning Order Management for growth and scale.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $140,995-$225,592

San Francisco Base Salary Range: $155,456-$248,730

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
