TCW sponsors a summer internship program for undergraduate and graduate students desiring to pursue a career in asset management or a related field. Along with the valuable learning experience the interns gain with their assigned groups, TCW arranges a program of events designed to enhance the summer experience with us. Interns enjoy opportunities to meet directly with some of our senior executives, attend classes/lecture series led by key investment personnel at our firm, and enjoy networking events. The summer intern program typically runs from mid-June through mid-August, a total of 8-10 weeks.

Primary Responsibilities:

For summer 2021 in our downtown Los Angeles office, we have one internship position within our Compliance department. The intern will work under the guidance of the senior members in the Compliance department and will work on a wide range of compliance functions involving broker dealer compliance, marketing and advertising review, policy review and testing, research related to domestic and international compliance issues, and other compliance related matters that senior compliance staff assign.

We are seeking a rising 2nd or 3rd Year law student interested in Compliance within the Asset Management or Finance industry. The ideal candidate must have a familiarity with the financial laws and/or products. Prior understanding of SEC and FINRA Rules and Regulations is a plus but not required.
