As an Investment Information Services Analyst, you are apart of the Global Client Services (GCS) Investment Operations organization, with offices in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. GCS services Capital's institutional clients, prospects and intermediaries, and supports institutional marketing, sales and distribution teams. The mission of GCS is to deliver a superior client experience and enable the distribution of Capital Group's investment services globally.

Based in Los Angeles, the Investment Information Services Associate will manage, maintain and provide key organizational investment strategy and portfolio information to internal and external clients, intermediaries, and third parties. When needed, you will work with senior staff on complex projects, analysis and related tasks as well as identify opportunities to streamline department processes, applications and system efficiencies.

• You have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a relevant field of study and have a foundational knowledge of securities and the investment industry.
• You have a strong understanding of database and software management of reporting and analysis technologies (Robotic Process Automation and CORIC).
• You have familiarity with financial industry terminology and concepts.
• You have strong technical systems skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx.
• You are proactive and self-motivated to learn in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• You have the ability to effectively communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
• You have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• You like digging into numbers, telling stories with data.
• You thrive in team settings. You ask great questions, bounce ideas off others and proactively share your perspective.
• You are highly detail oriented with demonstrated accuracy in a deadline driven environment.
• You have exceptional organization, self-review, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• You have SQL skills which is a plus for this role.
