As an Investment Information Writer on the RFI/RFP team in Los Angeles, you will work both independently and as part of a team to complete written requests for information, due diligence, and new business proposals. You will collaborate with peers, sales teams, investment specialists and other business partners to gather information and provide written responses covering Capital Group and Capital Group strategies/funds to a broad institutional audience. You will also serve as a general resource to the business for RFI/RFP related information and may participate in content development initiatives, process improvements, and project related work.

Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required.

• You will research and gather information needed to fulfill RFIs, RFPs and due diligence requests.

• You will collaborate with senior associates on more complex requests

• You demonstrate a working knowledge of investment strategies and general portfolio statistics and ability to analyze data and information

• You independently manage your workload in a high volume, deadline driven environment

• You have an undergraduate degree

• You have excellent communication skills including strong written, verbal and listening skills

• You demonstrated success in managing competing priorities

• You have the ability to problem solve, balance stakeholder needs, and navigate through ambiguity

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You have an Undergraduate degree

• 4+ years of experience in the investment management or financial services industry with a working knowledge of investments and general portfolio statistics

• You pay strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of intellectual curiosity

• You have excellent communication skills including strong written, verbal and listening skills

• You can demonstrated success in managing competing priorities

• You are skilled at fostering positive working relationships and ability to collaborate with others

• You have the ability to problem solve, balance stakeholder needs, and navigate through ambiguity

• MS Office, PMAPS or other proposal software preferred
