As an Investment Operations Analyst, you'll support our investment and distribution process for American Funds. You have a true interest in accounting and finance with a genuine service orientation. You'll play a critical role on our team by specializing in a certain function such as accounting, fund administration or securities operations. You have experience preparing, reviewing and approving entries and supporting documentation. Specific areas of focus may include daily valuation of securities, trade processing, corporate actions research, collateral management, determining net asset value or financial reporting.

• You have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a relevant field of study.
• You have general knowledge of mutual funds, the investment management industry and/or GAAP experience.
• You're well-versed in Excel, using it to store, present, process and examine data. You've written versatile formulas to solve complex problems.
• You like digging into numbers, telling stories with data and are well-acquainted with financial statements.
• You enjoy mentoring people, dissecting processes, and completing projects. You are a role model who others look to for guidance. You understand the importance of mindful communication when working within an inclusive environment.
• You bring exceptional quality and attention to detail to work deliverables. Your professional experience has included times when you've delivered constructive feedback to team members, verbally and in writing.
• You are available and open to work overtime as needed.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
