  • Responsibilities

    Role Summary:

    • Works independently on most assignments and under the direct supervision of more senior staff on more complex scenarios, projects, analyses, and tasks.

    • Responsible for end to-end for overseeing of the Reference Funds and vehicles by supporting the investment decision making process and delivering the Capital System.

    • Directly engages the Investment Group, works with Trading, Legal, Client groups along with other IO teams and business leadership

    • Lead or participate in departmental projects and work on process engineering initiatives.

    • Brings energy and enthusiasm to the environment and works collaboratively to help PIC meet its business goals.

    Client Activities

    • Participate in the planning and execution of standard and complex activities including fund launches, fund closures, strategy change, vehicle conversion, funds of funds solution.

    Business & technical skills:

    • Participates in projects and team or department initiatives.

    • Collaborates with project leads to establish and implement project plans, may identifies, and assesses impacts, and communicates updates to leadership and stakeholders.

    • Serves as technical resource and/or subject matter expert in one or more area(s) to team and other departments to resolve complex issues, enhance processes and to knowledge share.

    • Strengthens relationships and builds trust with the Investment Group, Trading, and other adjacent teams by anticipating needs and offering solutions.

    • May act as cluster lead by leading a group of associates with responsibility for accounts / Funds which share investment objective.

    Designing Solutions:

    • Working with the key stakeholders to execute tasks associated with each stage of the software lifecycle development.

    • Assists in defining problem statement(s) and aligns stakeholders through a well-defined business case.

    • Participates in prioritization decisions through rigorous analysis and application of ranking criteria.

    • Elicits and documents business requirements with understanding of end-to-end process and performs impact analysis.

    • Assists in identifying solution options with cost benefit analysis.

    • Helps to resolve issues and drives to results with specific project components.

    Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $74,269-$118,830

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
